Oya Matamba Inc. was founded in September 2020 with a mission to uplift and empower Black women and youth through Capoeira educational programs, healing-centered events, and transformative life classes. Our vision is to provide Black individuals with Capoeira as a deeply immersive experience—an ancestral technology and a powerful tool for life transformation.

At Oya Matamba Inc., we believe in the strength and resilience of our community. Our programs are designed to foster physical, mental, and spiritual growth, ensuring that every participant can experience the profound benefits of Capoeira. Through our efforts, we aim to create a supportive environment where Black women and youth can thrive, heal, and connect with their cultural heritage.
