Together, We Make a Difference

Our mission is to uplift women, children, and families in our community—especially those facing hardship. In challenging times, we strive to offer hope and practical help to those who need it most.

This past year, our impact has reached far and wide. We provided summer camp scholarships to nine children at the Alper JCC, ensuring they could enjoy a safe and joyful summer experience. We organized a food drive to support the Coconut Grove Crisis Food Pantry, and collected school supplies and personal care items for the children of migrant workers.

Our members continually give from the heart—donating travel-sized toiletries to create care bags for local shelters, and contributing school uniforms to the Lotus House Women’s Shelter. Each month, we also prepare and deliver meals for the young women living at Casa Valentina, helping to nourish both body and spirit.

Our commitment to advocacy is just as strong. Following our Human Trafficking Awareness event on February 21, 2023, presented in partnership with Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle, our Human Trafficking Committee succeeded in placing multilingual awareness flyers in 500 restrooms across Miami International Airport—a vital step in bringing information and hope to those who need it most.
