A Legacy of Excellence – Musicall Youth Orchestra of Miami

The Musicall Youth Orchestra of Miami has made history by winning first place in 2023 and again in 2024 at the Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival in Vienna. This extraordinary accomplishment — two consecutive first-place victories — underscores our unwavering commitment to nurturing musical excellence and providing our students with opportunities to perform on some of the most prestigious stages in the world.

As the only youth orchestra from Florida — and the entire United States — ever to win first place in a major European competition, we are immensely proud of our students and team, whose dedication and artistry continue to elevate Miami’s name across the globe.

A Critical Time for Support – Why This Fundraising Matters More Than Ever

In 2025, all funds raised during Give Miami Day will go exclusively toward our new FREE program in Hialeah, a project designed to provide local teenagers with access to high-quality music education, mentorship, and performance opportunities. This initiative will serve as a safe and inspiring space where young people can develop their creativity, discipline, teamwork, and confidence through the power of music.

The program is completely free for the community, ensuring that no child is left out due to financial limitations. Thanks to the invaluable support of The Children’s Trust, this new effort will allow us to expand our reach and continue transforming lives — one note, one rehearsal, and one young dream at a time.

The Musicall Mission: Beyond the Stage

Our mission is to provide comprehensive music education as a cornerstone of children's development, fostering social, emotional, and academic growth. Musicall serves children from ages 2 to 19 through a wide array of programs that include:

• Three distinct orchestra levels
• Instrument preparation classes (Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Guitar)
• Theory/Piano Lab Classes
• Family Music Classes for toddlers
• Four Hands (introduction to piano for preschoolers)
• Semi-private music lessons and Improvisation classes

We are deeply committed to accessibility, offering scholarships and free lessons to students from low-income backgrounds and underserved communities, ensuring that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the chance to experience the joy of music.

Inclusion and Community Impact

Musicall proudly serves underprivileged Hispanic and African-American communities, with many of our students coming from low-income backgrounds. Our after-school and summer programs extend beyond music, offering academic support and social enrichment to help students thrive in every aspect of life. Furthermore, we are committed to inclusive education, providing equal opportunities for children with special needs, ensuring that every child has access to the benefits of our programs.
