Ms Dans Chinese

Ms. Dan's Chinese Corp. is a pioneering Miami-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing Chinese language education and cultural appreciation events to all residents. With the dual mission of promoting education and supporting the local Chinese immigrant community, Ms. Dan's Chinese has been instrumental in employing and training stay-at-home, first-generation Chinese immigrants. As the first organization of its kind open to all residents, Ms. Dan's Chinese has served numerous local families and hosted many events attended by tens of thousands of people. Through its programs, the organization helps Chinese immigrants integrate into the local community while boosting local employment and fostering cultural appreciation and mutual understanding.

Mission Statement

Ms. Dan's Chinese empowers individuals through Mandarin language learning education, fostering lifelong skills to prepare students as confident global citizens. Our primary goal is to create a welcoming environment where individuals of all backgrounds, especially children, are offered excellent educational opportunities to learn about Chinese language, traditions, and customs. Additionally, we strive to provide meaningful employment, training opportunities, and community support for Chinese immigrants, thereby fostering a more diverse, inclusive, and harmonious local environment.

Objectives

Educational Programs: Offer high-quality Mandarin Chinese & Cantonese language classes for all age groups and proficiency levels. 

Cultural Events: Host regular cultural events, workshops, and festivals to promote Chinese traditions and customs, free to the public.

 Community Integration: Support the integration of Chinese immigrants into the local community through employment and training opportunities, with a special focus on empowering women and mothers.

 Collaborative Partnerships: Establish strong partnerships with local counties, cities, schools, libraries, museums, and organizations to broaden our reach and amplify our impact.
