Moksha Arts Collective

The Moksha Arts Collective (MAC) is a multicultural community organization honoring unity, diversity, and harmony with a mix of contemporary and traditional presentations. MAC produces exhibits, performances, and educational events conducive to the community good. Located in the underserved Liberty City area of Miami, Florida, MAC offers world-class performances and exhibitions by providing high-tech platforms for artists, musicians, and live performers to collaborate with other humanities in order to create unique community contributions. MAC dialogs with local neighborhoods in order to pinpoint social, ecological, and economical issues, topics, and outlets important for community growth and prosperity. By eliminating the pressures of commerce for members, MAC establishes a node for visionary artistic contributions highlighting creative edge, distinctive training, and artistic dexterity. MAC stands firmly in support of local artists first, whose artistic visions, standards, and practices are often placed at a disadvantage while operating in the Arts markets. MAC responds to threats to the Arts with non-profit space, for public presentations without commercial pressure or necessity to achieve ROI quotas in order to subsist, while commercial property sales and residential construction lay among the root causes of viable venue closures for the Arts, entertainment, and education for the public. We strive to make positive contributions to the neighborhood in which we are located and call attention to the many talents who call Miami and Moksha Arts Collective home.
