Military Recreational Divers Inc exposes veterans with PTSD and other disabilities to ocean therapy through scuba diving activities.
We bring peace, smiles and hope for brighter days, while building new friendships and strengthen the veteran community.
MRD was founded by a combat veteran that suffered severe PTSD and physical injuries and his wife that suffered severe PTSD.
Thanks to a similar organization, he took on diving, and one can say, it simply saved his life. Knowing what the ocean can do, he decided it's time to give back to fellow veterans in need.
The calm, solitude, beauty and healing powers of the ocean are something that our heroes need and deserve. Bettering physical and mental health of those who served is a dream come true.

Our goal is to expose veterans to ocean therapy and experience the healing effects of the ocean.
The intent of the group is to bring Veterans and their families together and share yet another common bond through Scuba to support physical and mental healing.
