Military Recreational Divers is a group designed to create a platform for all military branches and their families to participate and enjoy group dives as part of ocean therapy.
MRD was founded by a combat veteran that suffered severe PTSD and physical injuries.
Thanks to a similar organization, he took on diving, and one can say, it simply saved his life. Knowing what the ocean can do, he decided it's time to give back to fellow veterans in need.
The calm, solitude, beauty and healing powers of the ocean are something that our heroes need and deserve. Bettering physical and mental health of those who served is a dream come true.

Our goal is to expose veterans to ocean therapy and experience the healing effects of the ocean.
The intent of the group is to bring Veterans and their families together and share yet another common bond through Scuba to support physical and mental healing.
