Since 1995, Miami PAL has been providing free after-school programs, summer academic camps, and athletic programs to over 1,000 youths, ages 5-18 who may otherwise not have the opportunity to participate in these activities. Throughout the years, the program has broadened its scope to include education, mentoring, arts and crafts, dance, music, social services, leadership development, field trips, and most recently the STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Miami PAL provides youth with the tools and life skills they need to achieve a successful future.

Mission

The mission of the Miami Police Athletic League, Inc. (Miami PAL) is to foster a positive relationship between the Miami Police Department and the youth of the City of Miami through educational activities, athletics, and mentorship. Miami PAL offers a safe and healthy environment for its youth, allowing them to develop academically, socially, mentally, and physically, under the supervision of caring Miami PAL staff. Through positive interactions and mentoring, Miami PAL provides the youth with the tools they need in order to achieve a successful future.
