Miami Marlins Foundation

The Miami Marlins Foundation creates opportunities for youth to stay active, achieve academic success and build leadership skills while focusing on wellness, empowerment and youth baseball & softball programs.

The Miami Marlins Foundation and City of Hialeah Parks and Recreation have partnered together to provide youth with a location to participate in developmental baseball and softball programming, and gain access to educational resources through the Miami Marlins Youth Academy at Babcock Park.

The goal of this facility is to revitalize the game of youth baseball and softball in South Florida by increasing access to and providing affordable instructional and recreational programming that gives our future all-stars a safe and enriching environment to improve physical fitness and gain valuable skills to perform their best on and off the playing field. 

Through our leagues, free clinics and field days, over 1,000 youth participated in programming at our Miami Marlins Youth Academy.

Our sports-based youth development programs have impacted youth in South Florida by utilizing baseball and softball as the vehicle to teach the game and provide kids with life-changing social and emotional learning experiences.
