It's time to get to smash the stigmas around menstrual and maternal health!

At Menstrual Market, we are dedicated to providing holistic, body-positive reproductive health education from menarche to menopause through events, service, and the arts. Our organization believes in promoting evidence-based learning, community storytelling, and visual effects to reach diverse populations in an accessible, engaging, and inclusive manner. 

Our organization focuses mainly on providing resources and care for BIPOC preteens, teens, and women suffering with menstrual health conditions including endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease, and others hormonal health conditions that are often overlooked. 

Our latest initiative, the Menstrual Doula training program, aims to educate caregivers, doulas, and wellness workers to provide menstrual and maternal health support for their families and people in their communities.

OUR PROGRAMS INCLUDE:

50 Shades of RED

Our signature project! 50 Shades of Red is an immersive storytelling series that explores the reproductive health experiences from menarche to menopause of diverse communities through podcasting, visual art, events and spoken word poetry. 

By amplifying voices across generations, cultures, and identities, we breaks taboos, foster healing, and transform shame into empowerment!

The Postpartum Period Program

In partnership with Miami Diaper Bank, this service program provides 15 new mothers/families in postpartum with free diapers, adult diapers, baby wipes, hygiene wipes, menstrual pads, and tampons for one year for up to two children.

$25 will serve one family with two kids for one month!

The Menarche (formally Moms in Menarche)

This bi-monthly event program engages with young girls experiencing menarche (their first period) for the first time and their mothers or caregivers. We provide them with a supportive network to share their stories and learn about their bodies in a safe, inclusive space.

During this workshop, we build period kits, creating coloring books, make herbal blends, and express ourselves through intergenerational storytelling.

Menstrual Doula Training Program

This is our newest program launching in 2026 will trains local doulas and wellness providers to support women who are experiencing uterine health conditions such as infertility, endometriosis, PCOS, Fibroids, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease and Asherman’s Syndrome. They also learn the best practices and tools for supporting people who experience pregnancy and/or infant loss. 

Our trainings help to bridge the education gap between menstrual and maternal health in our community and provides a new generation of doulas fully equipped to support women through their entire reproductive health journey.
