Mau’s Angels Foundation was founded in 2022 by Jacqueline Toledo Moreno, in loving memory of her husband, Mauricio Saavedra, a devoted father and compassionate friend whose life was tragically taken by gun violence. Out of this loss grew a mission to transform grief into hope and service.
Today, Mau’s Angels Foundation is a volunteer-driven nonprofit serving families in crisis across South Florida, providing basic essentials at no cost, from food and clothing to school uniforms and emergency support.
Each donation helps us continue turning pain into purpose, ensuring no family faces hardship alone.
Our organization’s mission is to help families and individuals at a time of need and uncertainty. No matter what their circumstances may be. We are here to provide basic essentials, food, clothes, job search, benefit applications, resources, and much more to families experiencing hardship.
