The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, known in the MS community as MS Focus, is a nonprofit organization focused on providing free services that address the critical needs of people with MS and their families, helping them maintain the best quality of life.

The symptoms of MS are unpredictable and may increase in severity over time. This presents physical, emotional, and financial challenges families must face. MS Focus is here to provide the support, education, and assistance needed to adapt to these challenging circumstances. Our quality-of-life programs include: Assistive Technology, providing mobility and safety aids (wheelchair ramps, vehicle hand controls, etc.); Transporation program, providing door to door transportation to neurologist appointments, MS centers and infusion centers via Lyft and Uber; Cooling Program, cooling aids for heat intolerance; Emergency Assistance for rent, utilities or other urgent needs to maintain a safe home; Healthcare Assistance, providing funding for a neurologist visit for the uninsured; Homecare Assistance for short-term daily living assistance, caregiver respite, and in-home therapies; and a Computer Program which provides new laptops or all-in-one computers to people with MS on a fixed income.

Mission

MS Focus: Multiple Sclerosis Foundation's mission is to provide programs and support services to individuals affected by MS to help them maintain their health, self-sufficiency, and personal well-being; and to heighten public awareness of multiple sclerosis in order to elicit financial support for the MS Focus' programs and services, and promote understanding for those diagnosed with the illness.

MS Focus was established to provide accessible programs and holistic support to persons living and struggling with the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to help them maintain their quality of life, health, safety and self-sufficiency, and personal well-being. Since 1986, we have served the MS community with empathy, resourcefulness, and conscientious care.

We offer 22 programs and services tailored to the immediate and critical needs of those living with MS, and we are always adding more as new needs emerge. All of our services are provided free of charge for those who qualify.
