Our movement manifests itself through a series of events, actions, workshops, prayers, as well as excursions into the heart of the Everglades. Our aim is to revitalize Community Participation so together we can contribute to a Global Action geared toward protecting and revitalizing this sacred land. We have led cleanup efforts, hosted Symposia, Film Screenings, Poetry Readings and are gearing up to develop community greenspaces throughout South Florida.
Mission
It is the mission of Love The Everglades Movement to implement evolving strategies across the full spectrum of being which address the environmental, structural, cultural and spiritual problems plaguing the Florida Everglades by raising awareness and organizing positive community engagement at the local, regional, national and global levels.
