FOO SOCIETY INC (Family of One Society) is a new LGBTQ (LESBIAN GAY BISEXUAL TRANSGENDER or QUESTIONING) non-profit organization that was founded in JUNE of 2019.
Our organization is home to the Southwest Miami Dade Florida area. FOO is the only LGBTQIA+ organization in the lower South Dade region that caters to the needs of the LGBTQ community; offering vital services support and resources serving from Coral Gables to Key Largo, FL . Foo Society takes great pride in dedicating services that will serve the urgency of our youth and local LGBTQIA+ family members.
FOO SOCIETY OFFERS FREE :
counseling services, mental health assessments for youths and family members, life coaching skills/ sessions , virtual support groups, shelter resources, Emergency housing tutoring, mentorship, employment readiness, HIV prevention education and testing , health and wellness sessions, as well as social development skills. Our new project is focused on better ways to support and serve our LGBTQIA veterans; your contribution to this new project will benefit our veterans and cater to missing services that are needed.
Foo society structured services is designed to deliver adequate and effective programs that will enable LGBTQIA veterans and youth to live productive lives and improve quality of life within their communities; by empowering youth and young adults who may be facing a crisis or struggling with their identity. We are a committed team dedicated to reducing the risk of suicide homelessness domestic violence 🏳and HIV transmission .
