The Key Biscayne Poetry Share uplifts the voices of Key Biscayne residents, visitors, and Miami poets. It inspires them to express their vital and creative voices, fostering meaningful connections through shared poetic experiences.
The Key Biscayne Poetry Share is in its third season. This year, our poetic outreach will go in new directions. We have close ties with our local Key Biscayne Girl Scout Troop 2312. They have participated in the Village's annual Centenarians’ Day luncheon and will share poetry at the 2025 Community Center Fall Fest. The Poetry Share will also combine efforts with the 200th Cape Florida Lighthouse Committee. Events at MAST Academy and other local schools will take place also. We will culminate our 2025-26 during National Poetry Month, celebrating Zip Odes with our O, Miami Poetry Platform during a sunset picnic in April. Poetry, poetry, poetry on the horizon!
The Key Biscayne Poetry Share’s goal is to inspire Island residents and visitors to “sound” their vital and creative voices to express thoughts, feelings, and ideas through POETRY, fostering inner reflection, illumination of nature’s beauty, community connection, and a love of poetic verses.
