For over 106 years, Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS) has been a lifeline for vulnerable individuals and families, providing help, healing, and a bridge to safety to those of all ages, backgrounds, and identities. Guided by our mission to improve the quality of life and self-sufficiency of the Jewish and broader communities throughout South Florida in accordance with Jewish values, JCS addresses the most pressing needs in our community through its four pillars of excellence:

  • Food Security – Through programs such as the Kosher Food Bank, home-delivered meals to vulnerable seniors, congregate meal sites, and other nutrition programs, JCS ensures that vulnerable residents facing hardship have access to nutritious food. By relieving the burden of hunger, we provide dignity, comfort, and stability to those in need.
  • Case Management – Through programs such as the Holocaust Survivor Assistance Program, Shalom Bayit (Peace in the Home), Older Adult Case Management, and more, JCS case managers provide personalized support and advocacy to help individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. From housing and healthcare access to financial assistance and benefits enrollment, our agency connects clients with vital resources and create pathways to long-term stability.
  • Information & Referral – As the sole provider of JCS 211 Miami and the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline to Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, JCS offers 24/7 support. The JCS 211 Miami Helpline connects residents to community resources such as food, housing, financial, and mental health referrals. The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline connects residents to compassionate, trained counselors for individuals experiencing a crisis or suicidal ideation 24/7/365, ensuring immediate support.
  • Mental Health Counseling – JCS provides compassionate, confidential counseling for children, teens, adults, and families. Our licensed clinicians address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, making quality mental health care accessible to all.

Your support on Give Miami Day allows JCS to continue meeting the evolving needs of our community, ensuring that no one is left behind. Together, we can make South Florida a stronger, more compassionate place for all.
