The Jane Network

The Jane Network is advancing reproductive freedom in Florida through its network of passionate pro bono attorneys. 

Our mission is to ensure that every person in Florida seeking to protect or defend this fundamental right has a legal advocate on their side. Our work is more vital now than ever, in the wake of Florida's devastating six-week abortion ban and the defeat of the ballot initiative.

Specifically, The Jane Network connects those in need of legal representation related to abortion care or reproductive rights with trusted attorneys across Florida. The attorneys in our network are tireless advocates and counselors who have successfully assisted clients across a wide range of practice areas, including criminal defense, healthcare regulatory law, medical malpractice, and more.  

We maintain a special focus on helping young people obtain judicial bypass.  In Florida, minors who want an abortion must either get parental consent or go through a court process to receive permission from a judge. This is often a daunting and painful process for young people, many of whom fear parental rejection, abuse, or even being kicked out of their homes. The Jane Network ensures that these young people are not alone, connecting them with trusted, vetted pro bono attorneys who guide them through every step of the process. 

Since launching The Jane Network, we’ve been able to help countless young people access the abortion care they need, but there is so much more work to be done. And that’s where you come in.
