HIVE Preparatory School, est. 2009 is a K-8 charter school located in Miami, Florida with a school community that is categorized as Title 1 and is represented entirely by minority families, predominantly consisting of Hispanic and African American ethnicities.

Our school’s goal is to be unwavering and unrelenting in meeting our mission of providing a High-expectations, Inquiry-driven, Versatile, and Excellence-minded academic and social environment. Aligning these mission-based values with our school’s culture, HIVE Prep will be able to excel, innovate, adapt, and shine.

Two of the key foundations within the school is our defense of time-on-task and our defense of the classroom teacher. All decisions made are addressed through the lenses of defending the productive minutes of instruction and the professional expectations of a classroom teacher.

Mission

The mission of HIVE Preparatory School is to collaborate with stakeholders in creating a Highly Inquisitive & Versatile Education that will facilitate a student-centered, adaptable learning environment. The School will provide students with a rigorous academic and social preparation that will promote dignity, courtesy, discipline, responsibility, and high expectations in order to achieve high academic standards and become productive citizens.
