When a teenager in Miami needs help with addiction, the price of treatment shouldn't decide whether he gets it. For nearly 57 years, Here’s Help has made sure it doesn’t. We're a nonprofit providing residential, outpatient, and in-home treatment for people ages 13 to 35, and 75 to 85% of those we serve could never otherwise pay for care.
Walk our campus and you'll see what recovery looks like. One resident is earning a ServSafe certification in our industrial kitchen. Another is learning drywall and electrical work. A 17-year-old is studying for the GED they thought they'd never take. Treatment here isn't the end of the story. It's the beginning of the road back to school, work, and a stable future.
Our completion rates consistently exceed state targets, 93% of clients report satisfaction with their recovery, and three-quarters of the teens we reach are back in school within ninety days of discharge. But parents say it better than the numbers do. They tell us the same thing in different words: thank you for giving me my son back. All over South Florida, former clients are building careers and raising families. What began in 1969 is still working today.
Here's Help, Inc.'s mission is to provide a high standard of care and quality services to people who need substance abuse treatment. We take an integrated approach that addresses co-occurring disorders, because they often go hand in hand. And we work to meet the needs of the people we serve, both during treatment and after it ends.
