Founded in April 2023 by Eriel Forrest, a Pompano Beach native, disabled US Air Force Veteran, and Florida State University alumna, Grants 4 U, Inc. is dedicated to empowering South Florida entrepreneurs through vital grant writing support, resource connections, and business assistance services. Eriel’s extensive background in community service, grant writing, and military experience fuels our mission to help local businesses secure essential funding and overcome the challenges of entrepreneurship.

Inspired by her own experience growing up in a pioneering, Black-owned battery company, Eriel understands the barriers to funding faced by entrepreneurs, particularly those from underserved communities. Having successfully helped her father and family members secure multiple grants, she realized the transformative power of grant knowledge and resources. This insight led to the founding of Grants 4 U, Inc., with the goal of making a broader impact on the small business community.

In just over a year, we’ve facilitated over $90,000 in grant funding, garnered more than 10,000 views on our free, user-friendly grant database, and reached hundreds of entrepreneurs through our events and workshops. Our services include grant writing assistance, business certification support, and educational workshops, all designed to help businesses thrive and make a positive community impact.

Looking ahead, our vision is to secure the resources needed to offer our own grants, furthering our commitment to changing the trajectory of small businesses, one grant at a time. At Grants 4 U, Inc., we are dedicated to eradicating economic hardships for entrepreneurs from disadvantaged communities and fostering a more equitable landscape for business success.
