Empowering every Cavalier to create, perform, and shine.

Support the Arts at Coral Gables Senior High School High!

The Coral Gables Senior High School PTSA is raising $20,000 to support the school’s Arts Programs, giving every Cavalier the chance to explore their creativity through music, visual arts, theater, and dance.

Even with a dedicated faculty, art teachers often work with limited budgets, stretching resources to keep instruments playable, supplies stocked, and performances possible.

From band and dance to Gables Live, our award-winning student broadcast program, your gift helps fill the resource gap — funding instruments, supplies, and equipment, and supporting performances.

Arts education builds confidence, discipline, and creative thinking that lasts well beyond the classroom.

We are Gables PTSA—a volunteer-led Parent, Teacher, and Student Association dedicated to enriching the Coral Gables Senior High School experience for nearly 3,000 students and over 150 teachers and staff. Since 1941, we’ve worked hand in hand with families and the community to provide resources, improvements, and celebrations that make Gables a place where students can thrive. Our work is made possible entirely through the generosity of parents and community supporters like you.

Mission

The mission of the Gables High PTSA is to support the educational goals of the Coral Gables Senior High School community. We are an entirely volunteer-driven organization, funded through donations like yours.

Our PTSA brings together more than 400 parents, 200 students, and nearly 100 teachers, all committed to creating the best possible education and experience for our kids. We do this by raising funds, volunteering our time, and providing both financial and hands-on support for more than 15 programs and activities each year—including the Teacher Appreciation Lunch, IB Pinning Ceremony, Teacher Orientation Breakfast, and Teacher Mini Grants.

We cannot achieve these goals alone. Volunteerism is at the heart of our work: some members contribute hundreds of hours, others just a few. Every bit matters. If you can give your time or your talents, we invite you to join us today. Together, we make Gables stronger.

The PTSA is a group of over 400 parents, 200 students and nearly 100 teachers who are focused on improving the education of our kids while attending Coral Gables Senior High School. We achieve this goal by raising money, volunteering our time to help teachers and students, direct financial and volunteer support of over 15 activities (TeacherAppreciation Lunch, IB Pinning Ceremony, Teacher Orientation Breakfast, Teacher Mini Grant, etc.) and advocating for the needs of Gables High.

We cannot achieve these goals alone. Volunteerism is at the core of our organization. Some people find time to offer hundreds of hours/year, while others provide 2 hours/year. Regardless of your availability or skill set, we need to hear from everyone who can volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us today.
