We are Gables PTSA—a volunteer-led Parent, Teacher, and Student Association dedicated to enriching the Coral Gables Senior High School experience for nearly 3,000 students and over 150 teachers and staff. Since 1941, we’ve worked hand in hand with families and the community to provide resources, improvements, and celebrations that make Gables a place where students can thrive. Our work is made possible entirely through the generosity of parents and community supporters like you.
Make a Difference for Our Students
The goal for 2025 is to raise $20,000 to directly improve daily life on campus.
• Clean, reliable drinking water: Students often share frustrations about broken water fountains. Several water bottle stations are out of service, and the district does not cover replacements. Each unit costs $1,500, and at least four need to be replaced. In addition, the 23 existing stations require regular filter changes ($100 each). One dedicated teacher has been covering these costs personally—funds raised will help ensure students always have access to fresh, safe water.
• Shade for outdoor seating: Last year, new tables were added for students to enjoy. To make them more comfortable, Tucci has generously donated four umbrellas, but 12 more are needed so every table offers shade.
• Safe and welcoming benches: Outdoor benches have become corroded and uncomfortable. Resurfacing them will give students a place to sit, relax, and connect during the school day.
• Celebrations and spirit: Funds will also support student recognition and PTSA treat days—moments that create joy and celebrate the school community.
Every contribution directly enhances students’ daily environment, giving them access to clean water, shaded spaces, safe seating, and moments of celebration.
100% of donations to Gables PTSA go directly back into Coral Gables Senior High through initiatives that support students, teachers, and our school community. We are committed to using your contributions responsibly and effectively—funding programs, running events, improving the school environment, and providing Teacher Mini Grants.

The mission of the Gables High PTSA is to support the educational goals of the Coral Gables Senior High School community. We are an entirely volunteer-driven organization, funded through donations like yours.
Our PTSA brings together more than 400 parents, 200 students, and nearly 100 teachers, all committed to creating the best possible education and experience for our kids. We do this by raising funds, volunteering our time, and providing both financial and hands-on support for more than 15 programs and activities each year—including the Teacher Appreciation Lunch, IB Pinning Ceremony, Teacher Orientation Breakfast, and Teacher Mini Grants.
We cannot achieve these goals alone. Volunteerism is at the heart of our work: some members contribute hundreds of hours, others just a few. Every bit matters. If you can give your time or your talents, we invite you to join us today. Together, we make Gables stronger.
The PTSA is a group of over 400 parents, 200 students and nearly 100 teachers who are focused on improving the education of our kids while attending Coral Gables Senior High School. We achieve this goal by raising money, volunteering our time to help teachers and students, direct financial and volunteer support of over 15 activities (TeacherAppreciation Lunch, IB Pinning Ceremony, Teacher Orientation Breakfast, Teacher Mini Grant, etc.) and advocating for the needs of Gables High.
We cannot achieve these goals alone. Volunteerism is at the core of our organization. Some people find time to offer hundreds of hours/year, while others provide 2 hours/year.
