About

Our 2025 goal

We are opening a world of opportunity for the children of Île-à-Vache.

This year, through a collaboration between Flying High 4 Haiti, the EDEM Foundation, and SpaceX, Starlink internet has been made available to schools on Île-à-Vache. Thanks to the generous support of 121 Consulting, solar panels have been donated and installed at École du Village.

For the first time, our school will have both electricity and internet access. On an island without a reliable electrical grid, students will soon be able to connect with learning opportunities far beyond their shores.

Now, we need your help to take the next step.

For many of our students, a laptop will be their first electronic device, opening the door to education, research, creativity, and technology.

Our goal is to raise the funds needed to provide 20 laptops, teacher training, and ongoing technical support, ensuring that the computers, internet connection, and solar-powered system continue to serve students for years to come.

The Give Miami Day 5K is the first step toward making this vision a reality.

Register today and help connect the children of Île-à-Vache to a world of learning, opportunity, and hope. Together, we can empower the next generation to dream bigger and achieve more.

Mission

At Flying High 4 Haiti, we believe that education is not only a fundamental right—it is the cornerstone of sustainable development. By investing in quality education today, we are laying the foundation for a stronger, more inclusive tomorrow.

On Ile-à-Vache, where economic opportunities are limited, education offers one of the few viable paths to a better future. It ensures that local children are not left behind and empowers them to contribute meaningfully to the progress of their communities.

But education is more than access to classrooms. We believe it should inspire creativity, critical thinking, and a sense of purpose. Haiti’s long-term challenges require a new generation of leaders and problem-solvers—young people equipped not just with knowledge, but with the confidence and vision to drive positive change.
