About FLIPANY

Founded in 2005, FLIPANY (Florida Introduces Physical Activity and Nutrition to Youth) advances health equity by bringing healthy meals, hands-on nutrition education, and mentored physical activity directly to under-resourced communities across South Florida. As the largest unaffiliated sponsor of the Afterschool Meals Program in Florida, and through 300+ partnerships each year, we deliver real solutions where people live, learn, and play—so every child, family, and senior has the opportunity to live a healthy life.

Too many neighbors face barriers to healthy food, wellness education, and safe opportunities to be active. FLIPANY closes those gaps with a proven, community-based model that pairs access (meals, pantry markets) with skills (cooking, budgeting, label literacy) and motivation (coach-mentors, fitness programs). Our Community Programs

Healthy Meals: Year-round, culturally relevant meals for youth and seniors through afterschool, summer, and congregate models—paired with pantry markets that bring free groceries into neighborhoods.

Nutrition Education: Evidence-based, hands-on classes that teach cooking, smart shopping, meal planning, and gardening—building skills families can use right away.

Physical Activity: Coach-mentored fitness including Soccer for Success, yoga, and custom classes that inspire confidence, teamwork, and lifelong movement.

Expand meal service at high-need youth sites and senior centers
