Your wonderful donation helps us to assist the Homeless to get off the streets and rebuilt their lives, rejoin society, and provide them with care packages for personal hygiene, as well as to clothe them for a job interview.

The picture above shows Jerry. He spent over 8 years living on the streets. After 5 years of ongoing support from Favela Miami, we were finally able to help him secure both a job and housing.

He also overcame his battle with alcoholism. These photos capture his transformation.

Mission

When someone becomes homeless, it takes only three weeks of living on the streets for an individual to begin losing their sense of rational thinking and self-respect. Once labeled "homeless," they often become invisible to society. At Favela Miami, we strive to ensure that the community sees and respects its homeless population, helping to restore their confidence and lift their spirits. Our mission is to provide resources that help individuals transition out of homelessness by meeting their basic needs, offering job training and employment support, and encouraging them to rejoin society. We aim to inspire hope and a vision for a better future, with permanent housing as the ultimate goal.
