Fathers M.I.A. Inc

Fathers M.I.A., is a non-profit organization whose founders and partners Gernald Hawkins Sr. and Robert L. Jackson III joined forces to become the bridge that will facilitate the reconciliation between fathers, children, and families to improve the overall family structure. They believe the father strengthens the foundation of the home and if that foundation is broken then its condemned and ineffective. There are too many children and families are functioning in a broken state. By restoring the broken foundation, we are moving Fathers M. I. A. from “Missing in Action” to “Motivated Involved & Active”. Mr. Hawkins and Mr. Jackson have invested may hours mentoring fathers, fatherless children, and families. Being fathers themselves, they saw a need for the community of those who are fatherless, thus Fathers M.I.A. was born. They agreed that empowering fathers and promoting the importance of fatherhood will be the most effective way to restore the family structure and influence society overall.

Our Vision is to experience a world where fathers realize the vital significance of their role in the family structure and receive the love, honor and reverence that they rightfully deserve. Our aim is to turn fathers’ hearts towards their children and children’s hearts toward their fathers.
