First Serve Miami (FSM), formerly the Greater Miami Tennis & Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization which originated in 1974 to introduce tennis to children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to learn the sport. Since 1974, FSM has trained over 35,000 Miami-Dade County at-risk youth in tennis while supporting their educational development through dedicated services and diverse programming. We recently changed our name to better associate with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and local Florida tennis organizations.
Mission
First Serve Miami's mission is to develop, organize and conduct life skills and academic development programs through tennis to youth from economically and socially challenged South Florida communities.
