Friends of South Florida Autism, Inc.

A nonprofit organization

Friends of South Florida Autism provides support to South Florida Autism Center, South Florida Autism Charter Schools, and the future Villages of South Florida Autism so that they may fulfill their missions of assisting individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) who reside in South Florida.

We have successfully created a state-of-the-art campus for South Florida Autism Charter School, a K-12 public charter school for students diagnosed with autism up to the age of 22, and with a maximum capacity of 300.

Our next project is the creation of a community outreach building on our campus for South Florida Autism Center, which will include Day Care/Early Childhood Programs, Therapy Clinic, Family Fitness Center, Mental Health Services, Community Workshops, Aquatic Center, and Adult Recreational & Vocational services with on-site employment training and job placement.

Future programming will include residential services, which will be provided through the future Villages of South Florida Autism, Inc.  We are devoted to creating safe and appropriate housing for this population in an environment that is socially and emotionally fulfilling, utilizing science-based methodologies.

Our campus serves as a great example of a replicable model for autism programs nationwide.
