Florida Immigration Law and Justice Center (Florida ILJ) is a proud affiliate of the National Immigration Law & Justice Network. Since 2014, we have provided free and low-cost, high-quality legal services to low-income immigrant families across South Florida, with a strong presence in Miami. Each year, we serve over 230 clients, offering not only expert legal representation but also education and guidance to help them avoid exploitation and fraud. For our clients, legal services are more than paperwork. They are a path to stability, safety, and freedom from fear.

Florida ILJ welcomes all clients regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or ability. We recognize that the U.S. immigration system is notoriously complex, and that language, cultural, and financial barriers often prevent immigrants from accessing the justice they deserve. Without legal representation, many face deportation and family separation even when they have strong cases.

Our team, many of whom have personal or family immigration experiences, brings deep empathy, expertise, and cultural understanding to every case. We also find clients through and connect clients with churches and community-led organizations for mental health, food, housing, and other essential holistic support. Through full legal representation, legal advocacy and rights education, and connection to community resources, Florida ILJ empowers immigrants to navigate the system with dignity and to realize their dream of a safe, secure life in the United States.
