We Expand Access to Miami’s Print Culture

Since 2014, EXILE Projects has been transforming how Miami experiences art. We make artists’ work accessible, affordable, and part of daily life — through books, zines, fairs, and creative programs that connect artists with their communities.

Our mission is simple: to champion print culture and support South Florida’s creative voices by giving the public a hands-on encounter with their work.

What We Do:

Publish & Distribute

We produce and distribute artist publications through our nonprofit small press in Little Haiti, nurturing Miami’s independent print scene.

Activate Public Spaces

From our Miami Zine Fair — the largest publication fair in South Florida — to our Zine Machine Program, we bring art into unexpected places. Vintage vending machines across Miami-Dade offer free zines commissioned from local artists.

Collaborate & Connect

We partner with cultural organizations, small presses, and institutions to expand access to independent publishing and create opportunities for Miami artists.

Share Miami’s Creativity Worldwide

We exhibit at national and international art book fairs, ensuring that local artists’ work reaches libraries, archives, and collections across the globe.

Keep Print Culture active

In partnership with Books & Books, we keep artist books available year-round — celebrating the vibrant, ever-evolving spirit of South Florida’s print culture.

Your Give Miami Day gift sustains these programs, funds artist stipends, and expands our publishing reach — ensuring that Miami’s creative voices continue to be seen, heard, and shared.

✨ Together, we can keep print culture alive and thriving in our community.

Where does your donation go?

  • $5,000 – Covers the venue for our annual Miami Zine Fair — a cornerstone of South Florida’s print culture.
