Equine Music Therapy Resources is a nonprofit organization founded by Dayne Leon a passionate visionary, devoted mother, and compassionate advocate for children of all abilities. As the founder of Equine Music Therapy Resources, Dayne has dedicated her life to helping children grow stronger—emotionally, cognitively, and socially—through the transformative power of horses, music, and love.
A proud Miami-based entrepreneur, Dayne holds a bachelor’s degree in business with a major in finance and is currently pursuing her master’s in psychology, reflecting her deep belief that true success begins with understanding the human heart.
Her journey began in 2020, when she and a dear friend—who shares her lifelong passion for helping children—founded Happy Place Academy. Together, they built a nurturing early childhood center that quickly became known for providing exceptional care and meaningful learning experiences for young children.
In 2022, driven by her personal passion for supporting children with special needs, Dayne founded Equine Music Therapy Resources, a nonprofit organization that combines the healing rhythm of music and the gentle strength of horses to help children discover confidence, resilience, and joy. Officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) in 2023, the organization has touched countless lives by creating programs where children not only learn vital life skills but also build character, self-esteem, and a deep sense of belonging.
Today, Dayne continues to expand this mission through Unique Explorers Academy, a specialized private school for neurodiverse learners from kindergarten through eighth grade. Founded alongside her trusted friend and collaborator, the academy integrates education, therapy, and creativity to ensure every child is seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
Driven by heart, guided by purpose, and fueled by hope, Dayne Leon is building a future where every child—regardless of ability—has the chance to shine. Her story is one of courage, compassion, and community. With every child she helps, and every life she touches, she reminds us all that when we give children the chance to believe in themselves, miracles happen.
