Engage Miami is a nonprofit building the civic power of Gen-Z and millennials in South Florida through voter education, civic engagement, and issue organizing. Founded in 2015, Engage Miami has grown to be the oldest, largest, and most impactful Florida-based youth organizing and voter registration organization.

Every year, we register voters, create voter guides that show where the candidates stand on the issues that matter most to young people, and make sure all of us have the information we need to be confident and ready to vote. We organize at city hall, the county commission, and in the state legislature to make our platform, the Young People’s Policy Priorities, a reality in our cities and in our state.

We work in Miami-Dade, Broward County, and Palm Beach County. We meet people where they are by working on college campuses, community meetings, and third spaces because we know South Florida has many young people who are either nontraditional college students or not college students at all.

We build the infrastructure and pipelines to civic power and equity so our generation can start leading today and planting seeds for tomorrow. This year we were in full bloom but we can't keep growing with our community of supporters - thank you for investing in us!

Mission

Engage Miami is the home base for young people in South Florida making our communities more just, sustainable, and democratic through civic leadership and engagement. We are Gen Z, millennials, Black, Latinx, Indigenous, immigrants, women, men, queer, trans, and nonbinary. We are working to build a world where all of us can thrive, live with dignity, and be safe in our communities.
