Engage Miami

Most days, you can find one of our canvassers out in the Miami sun with a clipboard and a mission, talking with people from our community about the future of our city. This year, Patricia stood up for the first time at a county budget hearing with more than 200 people. She spoke about how rising housing costs are affecting her and her loved ones, adding her voice to a growing call for change.

 Miami’s young people are facing sky-high rents, a climate crisis, and decisions that too often leave them out. Engage is committed to supporting young people to embody their power and be the change they want to see in the world but we need your support. We know democracy doesn’t stop at the ballot box.

Civic engagement is not a spectator sport. That's why we're out in the streets, registering voters, knocking on doors, and sparking conversations that move our city forward. We're showing up year-round under the hot sun, at crowded city hall hearings, and in the neighborhoods we call home because real change starts with us, and we're not waiting for permission to build the Miami we deserve.
