Empower Farms is a small organic farm dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities. We grow vegetables and fruit in addition to caring for a beautiful flock of egg-laying hens.
Our farming practices involve and require many different, simple, repetitive tasks that need to be undertaken routinely... That allows us to incorporate the work of many people with disabilities along the way. We currently employ 25 individuals with disabilities, while thousands more have visited the farm on field trips.
We sell our produce on our website www.empowerfarms.com and deliver to your door in Miami.
Working alongside a multitude of individuals with disabilities to produce food organically in our unique ecosystem is quite the task! Our farm and it's mission have been years in the making and we're thrilled to share the fruit of our labor with you!
Thank you!
