The holidays are always hard for families of sick children, but for some, this year will be even harder.
Especially in our economic environment, and for many different reasons, families with critically ill children are struggling to keep a roof over their heads, the electricity on, and food on the table.
Last year, by the time they reached out to us, over 70% of the families Ellie’s Army assists were facing eviction or foreclosure. Some of them were already homeless.
When we saw hardship, Ellie always asked: “What are we going to do about it?”
This year, in particular, there is a lot we can do, together. Every donation makes a difference!

We are Ellie’s Army, dedicated to providing children and young adults battling life-threatening illnesses with the possibility of a healthier future. By offering financial assistance and personalized support, we ease their families’ stress and help ensure their best chance to survive. We strive to ignite a spark of hope that fuels their resilience and empowers them to face life with confidence and determination.
Our vision is to create a world in which every child and young adult has access to the best chance of survival, regardless of financial costs.
