Since its inception, we have delivered meals to Mercy Hospital, Baptist Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, South Miami Hospital and Nicklaus Children's Hospital, as well as the Surfside Fire Department after the collapse of the Surfside Condos. Recently, we began a collaboration with ICU Baby we will make care packs for families NICU. We have worked with Pucci's Pizza, Jenny's Gourmet, Jersey Mike's and El Palacio de los Jugos and, with the generosity of these providers and others, have raised over 20,000. and delivered over 5,000. meals. This program has, so far, been funded through a donor-advised fund from the Coral Gables Community Foundation. As we have met and exceeded our goals, we are working to raise funds and expand our program to reach others in our community. We will be working with social workers around various hospitals to identify the families of critically-ill children in need to whom we may provide financial assistance.
Mission
In 2020, the whole world came to a halt when COVID-19 emerged. My children Kiran, Nicolas, and Autumn Evensky and I decided to thank our frontline heroes by delivering meals to feed them during the pandemic. When tragedy struck and my own father succumbed to COVID-19, we took our pain and tears and used it to honor his memory. We decided to thank our frontline workers every Thanksgiving and Christmas by providing meals to those that cannot be with their families during the holidays. This is how Elio's Kitchen was born .we are working to raise funds and expand our program to reach others in our community. We will be working with social workers around various hospitals to identify the families of critically-ill children in need to whom we may provide financial assistance.
Our mission is to expand our outreach in our community.
