Educational Leadership Institute, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to providing engaging educational programs that help participants reach their full potential. We believe it is our duty to bring these programs to the early childhood community, ensuring children have the foundation to succeed. Our core principle is that all children, regardless of their circumstances, can thrive when their challenges are met.

Our goal is to uplift every child facing significant challenges, providing them with a supportive community. We work closely with early childhood educators, offering mentoring, coaching, and literacy-based workshops to address issues impacting the communities we serve.

Empowering Hope, Learning, and Leadership

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, create, and thrive — no matter where they are.

Through our Children Giving Children Initiative, we bring the power of literacy, wellness, and creativity to children enduring long hospital stays and to the educators and youth who support them.

At the heart of this initiative is our Moving with a Purpose program’s Superhero Explorers take on the World series — an innovative blend of literacy, arts, and wellness activities designed to uplift pediatric patients in oncology and organ transplant units. Each session nurtures joy, learning, and connection through personalized one-on-one and small-group engagements.

To expand accessibility, we introduced an in-session art component, allowing hospitalized children to participate through our volunteers supported by our Leadership Mentoring Program, where youth volunteers receive mentorship and guidance to lead art activities, fostering compassion, confidence, and leadership skills.

                                                           Building a Kinder, Smarter, and Stronger Community

Our Kindness Ambassador Program empowers children and youth to lead with kindness — inspiring empathy and action in hospitals, schools, and communities. Ambassadors spread joy and inclusion through creative projects that remind children facing challenges that they are not alone.

Through our Empowering Teaching Leaders Program, we strengthen early childhood education by providing teachers with coaching, mentoring, and literacy-based professional development. Educators gain the tools and strategies needed to build literacy-enriched classrooms and inclusive learning spaces that inspire a lifelong love of reading and learning.

Our Stronger Together Family Series equips families with children from birth through age five with practical tools and strategies to support early learning and development. This interactive program helps parents strengthen connections with their children through literacy-based activities, emotional wellness routines, and hands-on experiences that promote language, curiosity, and confidence. By empowering parents as their child’s first teacher, we help build a foundation for lifelong learning and family success

Together, these programs form a powerful network of hope which connects children, families, educators, and communities through acts of kindness and education.

Your donation, during Give Miami Day, directly impacts children, families, and educators across our community.

We proudly serve and impact hundreds of children throughout the year, fostering resilience, creativity, and learning — one story, one lesson, and one act of kindness at a time.

• $250 – funds a Superhero Essentials Kit for a hospitalized child, filled with educational and comforting materials.
• $1,000 – supports two full days of Moving with a Purpose programming in a children’s hospital.
• $2,500 – supports our Stronger Together Family series of five family workshop sessions for 15 families.
• $3,500 – provides significant funding for Superhero Explorers take on the World series, ensuring access to quality learning opportunities for hospitalized children facing long-term stays.
• $5,000 – supports a literacy-based professional development series through coaching and workshop trainings for five early childhood educators, extending the impact of literacy and quality teaching to hundreds of children.
