n the house that Bam bought Marilyn in 2020, a sign reads, “Never forget where you came from, and never lose sight of where you are going.” Above it sits a picture of their North Carolina trailer home.
For Bam, his upbringing and his passion for helping others are bound together, beginning with a single mother's love and extending into a community built on that same foundation of support. His passion inspired him to establish the BBB Foundation, whose mission is to change the lives of single mothers while developing future chances, challenges, and choices for children.
The BBB Foundation's work is deeply rooted in Miami-Dade County, serving families and children in communities including Liberty City, Overtown, and neighborhoods throughout Greater Miami. Through partnerships and programming with organizations such as The SEED School of Miami, Camillus House, the Liberty City Warriors, and the Miami Book Fair, the foundation provides educational resources, youth sports opportunities, holiday assistance, and meaningful experiences for underserved families. From distributing thousands of toys and providing Thanksgiving meals to supporting students with school supplies, uniforms, and enrichment opportunities, the foundation continues to invest directly in the communities it serves.
True to Bam's principles, the foundation aims to support and enrich the communities that have poured so richly into his life. Through its programs, events, and innovative approaches to fundraising, BBB empowers at-promise youth to excel while strengthening the values and bonds within and between families.
