Founded in 1967, EDF takes on climate change and other grave threats by identifying what's most urgent and where we can make the most difference. Guided by science and economics, EDF brings together people from all sides to tackle challenges from many environmental perspectives through advocacy, science, economics and building partnerships. By working with businesses, government and community, EDF creates innovative, equitable and cost-effective solutions to the most urgent environmental problems. EDF's Florida office will continue this work by focusing on science-based, practical solutions that protect Florida's unique environment and economy from a changing climate.
