WE MAKE QUALITY STEM PROGRAMS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL
- Founded in 2012, The Dennis Project (TDP) is a community-based organization formed to enrich, empower, and engage underrepresented youth in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). We bring accessible, quality outreach programs into the communities where youth live, learn, and play.
- We envision all youth with access to a seat at the table in STEM innovation.
WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY
Funds raised on Give Miami Day will help refresh supplies and materials and expand STEM learning in communities that need it most.

WHY OUR EFFORTS ARE IMPORTANT:
- 90% of TDP’s services are dedicated to neighborhoods of greatest financial and educational needs.
- 80% of future careers will require some STEM skills. Yet, 70% of students from underserved communities report they lack engaging, hands-on STEM learning at school and find science "boring and too hard."
- 75% never considered a tech or engineering related career as a possibility.
- Our programs provide a safe space for youth to learn and do STEM and provide opportunities for hands-on learning that can spark lifelong STEM interest.

- Girls Rep in STEM: A community-based program designed to increase awareness and access of girls underrepresented in STEM.
- Super STEM Explorers: A community-based STEM outreach program filled with fun, hands-on, learn-by-doing projects that enhance any youth program.
- Fathers Stepping Up! Our fatherhood initiative is committed to improving parenting attitudes, knowledge, and skills of fathers, fathers-to-be, and father figures.
- The Game Changers: A teen leadership program that equips young people with the tools to become leaders in industry & community.
The Dennis Project is a celebration of the life & legacy of Amelia Dennis, our founder's grandmother.
As a transformative teacher in Miami-Dade County's inner-city, she emphasized the importance of education and service. Her contributions are reflected in TDP's community education programs.
