The Delta Education, Health and Cultural Initiative, Inc (The Delta Initiative) is a public foundation that exists to support charitable and public service activities which benefit the South Florida community. Traditionally, Delta Initiative activities have centered around five core program areas:
Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, Political Awareness and Involvement. We award over $30,000 annually in college scholarships, and provide youth development services for over 1000 girls, parents and families annually.
Mission
The mission of the Delta Initiative is to promote Cultural, Educational and Health Related services and programs through collaborative ventures which enrich South Florida's diverse communities of African descent.
