For over 75 years, Dade Legal Aid - Something Back Pro Bono Project ("PSB") has been a beacon of hope for families and individuals in Miami-Dade County who face legal challenges but cannot afford an attorney.

Dade Legal Aid - Something Back Project is dedicated to providing free legal services to those who need it most—children, foster youth, veterans, victims of domestic violence, and families in crisis. Our team of committed staff and volunteer attorneys tackle issues ranging from protecting vulnerable children and combating domestic violence to addressing eviction and debt problems.

Every year, we make a difference in the lives of over 10,000 people, thanks to our partnerships with the courts, bar, law firms, law schools, and various organizations.

Mission

Dade Legal Aid - Put Something Back Pro Bono Project provides a critical safety net of civil legal services to low-income residents in need of assistance with problems related to child advocacy, human sex trafficking, domestic violence, divorce, probate, guardianship, guardian ad litem, bankruptcy, real property, not-for-profit, and consumer law. The program uses pro bono resources and staff to serve underprivileged clients and communities in need of free legal assistance. Our clients include individuals facing extremely challenging circumstances, including victims of domestic violence, dependent children, older foster youth aging out of the system, the elderly, persons with disabilities, veterans, nonprofits, emerging artists and startups.
