You can support our work in the community and help save our historic church building at the same time. Coral Gables Congregational UCC serves the Coral Gables and greater Miami-Dade community as a place of worship, a hub for community activity, and a historic landmark.
Support from the congregation and from grant funds have enabled us to replace 3/4 of the leaking roofs that shelter more than 40 community organizations as well as concerts, weddings, food distribution to those in need and much more. We have one more leaky roof to replace -- over Fellowship Hall -- and we would really appreciate your help!
A recent emergency roof repair cost $4,200. This could have purchased 4,200 pounds of food for people in our area who are struggling to survive. We want to focus on our work in the community - but we need good, solid insulated roofs to protect our building from the elements.
Gables UCC is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is recognized as a Coral Gables landmark. We need community help to preserve this beautiful landmark for generations to come
