Please help preserve this historic Mediterranean Revival-style church so it may continue to be a community meeting house and beloved landmark. Our historic church building has served the Coral Gables and greater Miami-Dade Community since its dedication in 1925, a century ago. The congregation has raised nearly $1 million during the Centennial Campaign – but it’s not enough to finish replacing our roofs.

Water damage from Florida's heavy rains threatens the structural integrity of our historical building. In 2024, we replaced the sanctuary roof; however the leaks in other areas of the building: Fellowship Hall, the Arts and Music wing; and the Administration wing make it difficult to schedule events. Patching the roofs is no longer effective. Continuing the tradition of Congregational churches to be a community meeting house, the church roofs have been the umbrella for more than 40 community groups yearly. We must preserve this local treasure.

Gables UCC is listed on the National Register of  Historic Places and is recognized as a Coral Gables landmark. We need community help to preserve this beautiful landmark for generations to come!
