Chabad Chayil offers award winning afterschool programming called CHAP for children across 6 Miami-Dade County public school children. Daily for ages 5 to 13 and weekly for middle and high school aged students. Although our core focus is Hebrew as a second language, we also focus on literacy, school homework, team building skills, art, physical health and their social & emotional growth. We combine a Zumba-style Israeli dance and fitness program & provide healthy snacks to make sure students stay healthy and in shape.
CHAP has been rated the #1 afterschool program in Miami Dade County for 11 years in a row and plans to keep it on the top of the list as we expand our scope of services and enrollment.
CHAP helps single parents and any parent needing to keep a job knowing that their children are in a safe, loving and productive environment while they are out providing for their families.
Parents tell us that their children look forward to school, just to go to CHAP after school!

CHAP is an independent institution with a pluralistic approach whose mission is to provide affordable and effective Hebrew education to every local child not enrolled in a Jewish school. Our goal is to enable parents to retain their jobs, confident that their children are safe & happy while attending Dade Counties #1 rated aftercare. CHAP keeps its students fit while instilling in them (and their families) a sense of warmth pride and love for their heritage & Israel, with a hands-on Hebrew School curriculum of highest standards.
