Hi Everyone! We are the Coral Park PTA and are looking to enrich Coral Park students through outdoor learning opportunities. The goal is to have different areas that can offer shade for students in different grade levels. We would like to offer our students outdoor umbrellas for the tables so they can read or do outdoor projects. If we offer our students a protected outdoor area they can spend time in nature with their friends. Coral Park Elementary is considered a Title I school, which is a federal education program that supports low income students. With that, our PTA is constantly looking for ways to support our entire student population to support a sense of development and community.
Mission
Our mission is to make every child's potential at our school a reality by engaging and empowering our Coral Park Elementary families, teachers and communities to advocate for all children. This group of dedicated parents and teachers aim to provide students a variety of experiences, including (but not limited to): book fairs, Fall Harvest, career day, family dances, school beautification, and rewards for excellent performance. We also aim to acknowledge the amazing educators that support our children everyday with events like teacher appreciation week and luncheons.
For context, Coral Park Elementary (CPE) is a school of academic excellence in the heart of Westchester offering a rigorous science, technology, mathematics, and reading program for students in grades PK-5. CPE students also have opportunities to work on STEAM projects, participate in the Extended Foreign Language (EFL) and Gifted Education programs, and round out their development with Athletics and Arts programs.
