Bleeding Blue Inc

Bleeding Blue Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises money for South Florida Law Enforcement Families through fundraising efforts. Our organization’s goal is to raise awareness, appreciation and funding for law enforcement families in need of assistance! 

The organization begun after the devastating loss of a brother in blue that worked for the Miami-Dade Police Department which caused our family to spearhead a fundraiser. Since that incident, we decided to spend our free time assisting many other families in need. The mindset we have behind this is simple; when god calls us up, the Thin Blue Line family will be there for our loved ones.

Our Board of Directors is comprised of 8 active law enforcement officers, 1 retired officer and 2 police chaplains, all in a volunteer capacity. Since inception, we have hosted over 28 physical events to include sporting events, cigar nights, prayer sessions, and nights of unity. Furthermore, we have been blessed with the opportunity to create several memorial challenge coins and T-shirts to honor fallen officers throughout South Florida. We are pleased to share that since November 2022, we have donated over $186,000 to 36 families! 

Furthermore, we have taken on the initiative of "ending the stigma" between first responders and mental health. First responders are exposed to a number of incidents within their careers that may trigger mental health related injuries and ensuring our heroes are taken care by professionals is our priority. We have spent over $31,000 in resources and tools to ensure every police officer is aware of the resources available to them. By bringing awareness to this ongoing issue, we can ensure our officers will perform at their peak for the community.
