Beyond ASD is a nonprofit in Miami dedicated to empowering young adults on the autism spectrum through inclusion-focused programs. Our mission is to create a community where neurodiverse individuals are valued, supported, and celebrated as they build independent and meaningful lives.

Our name reflects our mission: ASD no longer stands for Autism Spectrum Disorder. At Beyond ASD, it stands for “Awareness Shifts Definitions.” We’re part of a movement to shift how the world sees Autism—not as something to fix, but as a valuable and meaningful way of being.

We offer a structured day program built around our three pillars of wellness:

• Productivity – vocational training, job preparation, and opportunities to contribute through in-house work and community employment.

• Self-Care – life skills, therapy support, and wellness activities that build independence and confidence.

• Leisure & Community – social connection, recreation, and inclusive events that foster belonging.

What makes our model different is that we don’t just train—we employ. With Occupational therapists embedded into the workday, each participant receives personalized, strength-based support in an environment designed for success.

Your contribution directly funds scholarships, transportation, supplies, and staffing, ensuring every young adult has access to the opportunities they deserve.
