Behind The Leaf is a self-funded initiative by our incredible Tribe (we see you, and we love you ^.^). Your generosity allows us to deliver transformative investor readiness training that helps women 10x their capacity to build, scale, and sustain thriving enterprises.

Behind the Leaf hosts the Flourish Media Conference, an “anti-bro” business event celebrating women-led innovation. For nearly a decade, we’ve created safe, curated spaces for women entrepreneurs to scale through peer learning, personalized education, and community-driven capital.

Each year, women in our private network pitch to funder-partners, gaining feedback, strategic connections, and access to new growth channels—from supplier diversity opportunities to Shark Tank. One of our most recognized alumni? Kreyol Essence, the Haitian Castor Oil beauty brand seen on national TV. Yes, we are women-focused—and men-friendly.

We now support our members based on our Seasons of Growth Quiz—a diagnostic tool that helps women identify their stage of business (Seed, Sprout, Grow, Bloom, Thrive, or Harvest) and receive targeted support that meets them where they are. These women will be evaluated by our Board of Directors for funding based on growth potential and strategic alignment.
