WEIRD MIAMI, another key program, presents artist-led tours that uncover the city’s hidden histories, vibrant culture, and evolving landscapes, allowing both locals and visitors to see Miami through the eyes of its creative community. NOMADIC MIAMI serves as an experimental model that empowers artists to develop site-specific projects, selecting unconventional locations to present their work and challenging traditional exhibition formats. HEAT EXCHANGE is a residency exchange program that expands BFI’s international reach, fostering collaborations between local and global artists, creating cross-cultural dialogues, and positioning Miami as a central hub for artistic exchange on a global stage.
