BAMN is a South Florida nonprofit preparing students of all abilities—including those who are deaf and hard of hearing, on the autism spectrum, or emotionally and behaviorally challenged to thrive in today’s technology driven world.
Through year round programs in coding, robotics, drones, and esports, students gain hands-on experiences that build critical skills in computer science, engineering, teamwork, and problem-solving. In our summer program, participants progress from block coding to Python and JavaScript while applying the engineering design process to design, build, and program robots for real-world challenges. Our drone curriculum equips students with safe flight practices and the opportunity to earn drone safety certifications.
BAMN students do not just learn, they compete and succeed. Many have showcased their skills in local, state, and world competitions, achieving recognition and building confidence. Our esports programming further expands career awareness, highlighting opportunities in technology, design, and entrepreneurship.
We proudly serve youth in partnership with organizations such as the Police Athletic League (PAL), Touching Miami with Love, Gang Alternatives, FIU Allstars, and Code/Art, which helps us encourage and expose girls to computer science through art-based coding challenges. We also provide services to numerous elementary, middle, and high schools across South Florida.
By supporting BAMN, you help ensure that all students regardless of background gain access to mentors, technology, and opportunities that prepare them for higher education and future careers. Together, we can inspire the next generation of innovators, engineers, and leaders.
