Arts Access Miami is a countywide collective impact initiative that unites schools, nonprofits, funders, and civic leaders to build a sustainable, systems-based solution for arts education. By cultivating collective leadership, delivering community-centered programming, and ensuring impact-driven accountability, we guarantee that every child in Miami-Dade - regardless of zip code - has access to free, high-quality arts education.

Who We Are

Arts access is a movement powered by 25 of Miami's leading arts education organizations, united under a shared vision: every child deserves access to free, high-quality arts education. We are not a single program but an ecosystem - bringing together organizations, principals, and communities to close gaps and transform neighborhoods through the arts. 

Problem & Solution

For too long, arts organizations in Miami have worked in silos, often competing rather than collaborating. Some schools end up with multiple programs, while others have none at all. Arts Access Miami changes this by building alliances of organizations that focus on entire communities instead of single schools. These partnerships bridge gaps and ensure that every child, from grades K-12, has access to high-quality, diverse arts programs both in school and after school.

About Us

Arts Access Miami was founded through the vision of Daniel Lewis and Rebecca Fishman Lipsey, and is led by The Miami Foundation and Young Musicians Unite under the leadership of Sammy Gonzalez Zeira. Together, we are working to build a thriving arts education ecosystem that reaches every child in Miami-Dade.
