Our Impact on the Health of Miami-Dade County:

The American Heart Association is committed to improving heart and brain health in Miami-Dade County through education, research, and advocacy.  Together, we are saving lives and strengthening communities.

We transform bystanders into lifesavers by training more people in Hands-Only CPR and first aid, fund innovative research, support patients and caregivers, and invest in local programs that promote healthy living in schools, workplaces, and community organizations.

Our community initiatives empower individuals to manage blood pressure, reduce stroke risk, and embrace better nutrition and physical activity. By addressing health disparities, we bring vital resources to homes, schools, workplaces, and under-resourced neighborhoods. Through advocacy, education, and research, we drive lasting change toward a future of longer, healthier lives for all.
